Adult Classes

Our Adult Classes are perfect for beginners as well as experienced students. We keep our class sizes small and accessible. This means our instructors spend time with you individually, as well as in part of a group.

You’ll learn self-defence and traditional martial art techniques in the style of Bujinkan. These include rolling and falling techniques, escaping grabs, and defending against punches and kicks.

Our self-defence lessons focus on situations that are relevant to the modern world. You’ll also discover insights into other ways of self-defence and dealing with attackers. These skills include techniques for defending against or using weapons as a defence.

You’ll learn about traditional weapons in short courses. These include:

  • katana (sword)
  • bo (six-foot stick)
  • hanbo (three-foot stick)
  • knife, naginata (halberd)
  • yari (spear)
  • jutte (truncheon)
  • and many traditional weapons from ninja history!

We all know that improving our fitness leads to happier and healthier lives. Being fit also helps you become a better martial artist. At Samurai Jujutsu, we include fitness in our training programme. We focus on improving agility, stretch, and strength.
